How accurate is the halal verification?+
Our AI analysis uses state-of-the-art language models trained to identify ingredients and flag non-halal components. While we strive for accuracy, always verify with trusted halal certifications for religiously important matters.
How do I cancel my subscription?+
You can cancel anytime in your device settings: iOS → Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions → Eat Halal. Android → Google Play Store → Profile → Payments & Subscriptions → Subscriptions. Your premium access continues until the end of the current billing period.
What languages are supported?+
The app is available in English, French, Arabic (with RTL support), German, Dutch, and Spanish. Scan results are also localized to your selected language.
Does the app work offline?+
Basic features require an internet connection for AI analysis. However, your scan history and shopping lists are cached locally for offline viewing.
How do I delete my account?+
Open the app → Profile → Delete Account. This permanently removes all your data within 30 days. This action cannot be undone.
Can I use the app for severe allergies?+
No. Eat Halal is designed for halal verification, not allergen detection. Always read original product labels for allergen information and consult healthcare professionals for medical dietary needs.
How do I restore my subscription on a new device?+
Sign in with the same Apple ID or Google account, then tap 'Restore Purchases' on the premium screen. Your subscription will be restored automatically.
Is my scan data private?+
Yes. Scan images are stored locally on your device only — never uploaded to our servers permanently. Only scan metadata (verdict, ingredients detected) is saved to your account for history. See our Privacy Policy for details.
